"market/interest for modded video game systems"

I recently dug up an old modded PS1 and PS2. Is there any interest or a market for these things? Is it acceptable to sell on eBay or is Craiglist my only option? I don't know who would still want a PS1 but the PS2 is pretty sweet. It's got a 300gb hard drive with a ton of games installed and emulators for other systems. It's just collecting dust so I might as well sell it if I can. I'm wondering if anyone has any experience selling them.

speaking of modded systems... how did the PS3 and 360 mods work? Are you not able to play online if you mod them? I always see pirated games online so I'm wondering what the pros and cons of modding those systems are. It was obviously a lot easier to mod previous generations because there was no online check or updating of firmware to worry about.

sorry if this was against guidelines to post...
