so my new magazine home is popular mechanics i came on just as they were developing the initial ipad launch which just dropped today
its sort of a sampler, using current and older content that best shows off what we want to do with format once we take it monthly (which should be happening this year) - i wasn't hands-on with this particular joint, but i will be very active once we ramp up.
anyway, if you have an ipad, check it out. i personally think this is the most successefull mag-transition to date. it has some really slick interactivity, so its not like you're just flipping thru a pdf, but it doesnt go too far overboard either, so you still know that you're in a magazine.
