I have an Atari 2600 waiting for me at the crib right now. It came with the following games: space invaders, combat, raiders of the lost arc, pitfall, missile command, air sea battle, pac man, night driver, canyon bomber, donkey kong, chopper command, asteroids, indy 500,and video pinball.
I'm definitely gonna get Superman and track and field. Probably Summer and Winter Games also. So let me know what's the essential Atari games I should have for my collection.
some of the classics like frogger, centipede and qbert can be fun to a point

I honestly don't know how much fun this would be now, but I remember loving this shit when I was six or so. I never got too much time with it because it was my cousin's, but I liked it a lot.
Joust:
One of my favorite classic games and I liked the 2600 version more than most other versions.

I didn't know some of these damn Atari games are mandatory 2 player games. This football game I have is straight 2 players whether you like it or not. What's up with that? I can't play it unless a friend is over.
