01: LOS ANGELES LAKERS pisforprops
When coach mercy4u left for Oklahoma City and eventually the Cleveland Cavaliers, PisforProps' dream job soon became available. After falling in the 2nd round to the Portland Trailblazers, the Suns were set to regroup. Then Los Angeles came calling and that was all it took. Props, now with his hometown team, are looking to repeat as champions with a new look on offense. Superstar Kobe Bryant (97) is joined by a all star front line with Pau Gasol (87) and Andrew Bynum (78). Ron Artest rounds out the starting five of a team that could very easily find itself in the Finals again.
02: SAN ANTONIO SPURS weslexner
New faces in new places. Coach Weslexner couldn't let his boy Props have the Western Conference to himself. After obtaining his first ring in Season II, Weslexner is out to prove he can win without LeBron James. Led by Mr. Fundamental Tim Duncan (90), the Spurs are looking to make an impression. Can Wes' formula get this veteran team in the playoffs? The play of Tony Parker (84) and Manu Ginobli (83) will be the key. In a deeper and tougher West containing the Lakers and Nuggets, it won't be easy.
03: GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS boogiedwn23
Coach boogiedwn surely would like to forget last his 8-22 record from Season III. Now with more offensive weapons, the Warriors look to run and shoot. Monta Ellis (82) and Corey Maggette (76) look to lead a high flying act of dunks and threes at 200 mph. With a host of wing players and rookie Stephen Curry (71), the Warriors will need to put up a lot of points to make the playoffs. If defensive specialist Andris Biedrins (75) can hold off the Gasol's and Duncans of the West, expect this team to provide a much better record for coach boogiedwn.
04: UTAH JAZZ leroybumpkin
The Jazz contain the longest tenured coach with one team. LeroyBumpkin as been behind the Utah Jazz for all three seasons, and some in Salt Lake think that's a bad thing. On some nights the team can compete with Lakers and Blazers, the next they struggle against the Knicks and Wizards. Behind pure point guard Deron Williams (89), the Jazz are looking to break that habit of inconsistent play. Carlos Boozer (85) is in a contract year and is looking to show he's worth the money. Can the Jazz perform and make the playoffs? Or will they spend the last round trying to spoil others playoff hopes?
05: DENVER NUGGETS slballer
After going 21-9 under Messiah4976, the Nuggets were destined to start Season IV as a contender. Then their head coach disappeared, and the Nuggets were left scrambling for a leader. Fans then questioned stormed every Nuggets message board, blog and fan page after management hired coach slballer, previously of the Washington Wizards. After going 3-27 in Season III, some wondered if slballer was the right move for the Nuggets, a team that pushed the Lakers to 4 games in the playoffs. Carmelo Anthony is back as the leading scorer. As one of the most explosive players in the game, he alone can win slballer 5 games. The Nuggets will need more than that to make the playoffs in a newly aligned Western Conference. Chauncy Billups (84) and J.R. Rider (70) make up the solid back court that could put Denver in the post season.
06: DALLAS MAVERICKS burbknight
New to the OKP league is Burbknight, who has put in a lot of work in the developmental league. Mark Cuban is hoping his solid work with MyPlayer can help push his Mavericks to one of the elite teams that compete for a championship. In Dirk Nowitzki (84), the Mavs have one of the most difficult players to guard. At 7'0, his turnaround jumper causes fits for defenses. And with Jason Kidd (80) and newly acquired Shawn Marion (81), Burb has plenty of weapons.
07: MIAMI HEAT steelysteel
Coming out of retirement, Steelysteel returns at the request of Chicago native Dwyane Wade (93). Steel left in the middle of Season I to reconnect with his family, but he's back now hoping to regain his position with a new offense and a new squad. Wade is going to need his help to play above their ratings to stop teams like Chicago and Cleveland. Jermaine O'Neal (75), Mario Chalmers (75) and underachiever Michael Beasley (75) all have potential to help in small doses. It will be up to coach Steel to organize those doses to help superstar Wade and the Heat win some games. https://digife.com
