One quick question for anyone who owns one tho: how does the sound quality/volume of the iphone compare to a regular ipod? If that shit is perfectly identical my pockets will be a little lighter (lolz double entendre).

I have been debating it myself for a minute.

But, I don't think anyone can beat blackberry as far as pure messaging/email is concerned. If you need to communicate to someone, blackberry is still king.

I would love to have the extra bells and whisles of an iphone, especially with my ipod going on it's last legs.

But, imho alot of the promise the iphone was supposed to deliver they really haven't done it, or have taken their lovely time (instant messenger/third party apps, etc).
