Okay so I seem to have forgotten to solve this problem, so I need some diagnosing...

My iPod screen is frozen and the light is frozen on too.

1. Move the slider from unlock to lock and back
2. Hold down the center button and menu button at the same time for ~3 seconds.
3. Wait for it to reset.
