I like the idea of buying games offa PSN. I don't have a PS3 so I'm not 100% on the process but as I understand, you can buy new games off their, too, right? I recall this past week a lot of people coming in to the store to buy Warhawk and then deciding to grab it offa PSN in order to get to play it quicker (we get it the day AFTER the game ships).

If this is true, then I think it's a step in the right direction and one that I hope would move to more mainstream as the internal hard drives get bigger.

yeah a couple full games will be on psn. socom confrontation and little big planet are next.

I mean, if you want to impress the fuck out of bob and megan down the block, for pure envy a PS3 playing a blue ray movie on a 40 inch lcd is unbeatable

after seeing the developer's walkthrough on gametrailers last night, I'm interested in seeing more. I like the idea of overdosing your enemies and watching them kill each other. Also snatching their weapons out of their hands and blasting with it right after.

The next gen truly started upon its release. The cell has enabled developers to make games that can't be created on any other platform with levels of detail unmatched with anything seen on any other platform. Crysis who?

It allows me to get intimate with the decent games that have been released so far that are fighting each other to claim the title of "System seller" 360 and PC's libraries are way too big and I get lost in all those games! I can never decide what to play! Bioshock? Gears of War? Oblivion with DL content already out? Rainbow Six Vegas with new maps? Don't even start talking about the XBLA! FUCK! It's too confusing!!! Ultimately, I end up crying myself to sleep.

With the PS3 I am able to think quickly on whether I want to race a car or play a game that's already on the 360 and is just now coming to the PS3! It's great!

360 was so ashamed of that Tenchu Z that no one hyped it up. Forget that, Lair is every bit as good as advertised 2 years ago at E3. It's only capable of being made on PS3 for real ock! Heavenly Sword - only capable of being made on a blu ray disc. The graphics fade everything out.

It's the ZOE killer. Now granted the graphics are inferior to the ps2 ZOE but them cutscenes look gorgeous! That interface could on be done on the Xbox 360.

the hate on 360 that a lot of PS3 owners have. It seems most of the 360 hate comes from those who have a PS3 and no 360. But at the same time a lot of the 360 owners here either have a PS3 or plan on getting one soon. I know I'm copping one to get my Tekken and blu ray fix.

Best Robotron clone I've played (Geometry Wars included).

I like that the controllers come built in with rechargeable batteries.

I like that the disc drive is slot loading.

I love that I can sync my Bluetooth headset to the system.

I love that it has four USB slots on the front of the system.

I love the cross media bar interface. Imo it’s the nicest of the three consoles.

Plus it's cheaper when you actually think about it. I got a 360 Elite and will probably sell it back once some good games come out for PS3.

360 Elite: $450
Wireless Internet: $100
2 year warranty: $60
XBox Live for 1 year: $50

That totals to $660, and with a PS3 I would get all of the above AND a blue ray player for significantly less.

PS2 had us buying network adapters, multitaps for more than 2 players, memory cards, extension cords, etc. So now those moronic Xbox people went and did the same thing. Eff that, gimme a PS3.
