Edit: I get nothing out of posting this. I received an email about 15 minutes ago from MSFT letting me know my free month of Gold was expiring, so I did a search to see if there were any deals out there. Seems like this is a pretty good one. Now if I could just find a bargain on Points so I could get some good deals on some of the Live Arcade games...

check your local kmarts. they have kits there that have joust codes, 12 months, and the head phones on clearance for 12 bucks. i got three years for 36 bucks obviously. they aren't marked this price, but they should scan that much.

i got mine in like may. but kmarts are awesome, because if no one in your area knows about the deals, they are like wastelands. nobody buys electronics from them, so there is a good chance they still have some. here is the hook though, they may be expired by now, but i think you can call microsoft and get them updated. people have also reported just using expired cards, and they still work.
