so i've been meaning to get a wireless optical mouse for a while, and as a pretty poor college student thats trying to maximize his buck, i'm leery to invest in anything without making sure it won't be a bust.
what i want in a mouse is one of those recharging docks so i don't have to be swapping in double A's every other week.
any recommendations on which mouse is the best bang for the buck?
newegg is selling the logitech mx revolution for $40 after rebates, but some of the reviews say it has problems when used around wireless signals. some shit about them using the same frequency (2.4 ghz i believe). some of the other logitechs look nice too, but i figure someone out there must know. any other brands i should look out for? or some cheap-ass deals i should be privy to?

i have no qualms with optical mice with chords but if you gotta have a wireless junt, logitech is my brand by default. mine used AA batteries and they lasted for about a good month because i do a lot of graphic work. just dont go below that $40 mark.
and not just for mice, but damn near everything in general
i been using the same 4 shitty $15 maxell rechargeables in my wireless keyboard and wireless optical mouse for damn near going on 7 years now
these batteries even outlasted my original wireless mouse (replaced it about 6 months ago with a wireless logitech thats pretty easy on the battery consumption... only have to recharge like once every other month)
and Im still using the same AA battery. Yall should stop using those 8 for 1$ batteries and you might get some life out of it....lol. I turn my mouse off when not in use.
Best mice (mouses?) I've ever owned. Nice charge cradle that charges really quickly but I've never had the mouse lose a charge on me anyway. I've got two right next to each other and theres no intereference at all (each mouse is dedicated to a specific machine). You can find them cheaper on newwegg or amazon.

so you haven't had any problems with wireless internet interference? thats what some of the reviews were saying, and almost all of my usage is around wireless internet, which has been the hold up...

Yeah its the same one in your link. It is a great mouse, but now that you mention it my wireless was dropping out on it. I had no idea it was an issue due to the mouse, but I guess it makes sense now.
