I got an apple gift card and I'm thinking of putting it towards a macbook. I'll probably just use it to go online, watch videos/dvds and....I guess that's about it. Listen to music as well. So what say you. I've been a PC boy all my life. The only apple product I've ever owned is an iPod. So talk to me people, how should I proceed? Do their laptops have the duel core shit so I can rock windows on it?

get a macbook and you'll be more than good. i'd suggest, for longer term useage to get a mid level macbook instead of the flat out cheapest -- plus the resale value is better.
