i just got a new macbook laptop and i need me some free music
ive heard that most viruses are written for windows, so am i treading in fairly safe waters if i start downloading off limewire or any other file-sharing app?

i got the latest version on my macbook and i've had none of the slowdowns that used to bug me so much before i uninstalled it and went with other clients.

read about forwarding ports:

www.portforward.com

It looks a little daunting at first glance (lotsa stuff to read), but it's not that hard to do, and it will most likely make a huge difference.

My download rates went up from a shaky 70 kb/sec to anywhere in between 80 and 700 kb/sec.
