Signing day is upon us, coaches are being fired (incl UM OC Kirk Campbell), and players are looking for new homes

ive seen some folks around the internet wishcasting Haynes King into the portal, but that seems doubtful. we are on the rise, and this is absolutely HIS team with 2000 rushing yards and 1500 rec yards coming back with him.

he would be QB1 in the portal, but that title falls now to Miller Moss until John Mateer declares his intentions. beyond that, Kaiden Salter and Thomas Castellanos are other notables. Cade McNamara too, but for a different reason.

on the coaching front, Mack Brown is out at UNC, Gus Malzahn left UCF to be Auburn's OC, Purdue fired Ryan Walters, and WVU fired Neal Brown. WVU is giving up a high floor to raise their ceiling...we shall see. This list is guaranteed to grow over the next 4-6 weeks.

Definitely returning are Dave Aranda (Baylor), Billy Napier (UF) who sat straight up like the Undertaker this month, Sam Pittman (Arkansas), and Rhett Lashlee (SMU) who wasnt on any sort of hot seat but has been boosted and extended.

One final retention, which seems almost like active sabotage by a school who may want to eliminate their football program, is Trent Dilfer returning to UAB. I guess an optimistic view is that there is nothing else to burn down so nowhere to go but up!

Finally, signing day. who tf knows. Michigan got Nathaniel Marshall to reflip back, so it might be that kind of day. 5⭐ OT Ty Haywood is expected to end up somewhere other than Alabama, and fellow 5⭐ OT David Sanders is casting a wandering eye towards Columbus.
