to play. SMH. Not sure what the final stats were, but there had to have been at least 6 or 7 false starts on the offense with the backup QB. I can understand a few, but that was atrocious. Looked like a high school team out there. For the life of me, I cannot understand why Franklin chose to run a hurry up offense early to midway through the 4th quarter when the offense was barely able to get a snap off, the QB wasn’t confident enough to throw beyond 5 yards, you have the lead, and a defense that had been playing lights out all game. Frustrating outcome bc that would’ve been a pretty easy win with Clifford - and he was even having a bad game.
OSU or whoever comes out of the Big10 East *should* handle Iowa by double digits in the championship game. No shade to Iowa since they took care of business, but they’re just not that great.
