...and sports writers/websites who expected a bunch of blockbuster trades this off-season, but have just gotten the Westbrook one.
The Sixers initial asking price was so steep that it caused the Warriors to lose about all interest. And now that they have Kuminga and Moody and really like both, the idea of giving them up for the vague idea of "Win now!" isn't as appealing to them. If nothing else, what they're willing to give has gone way down.
And as you said, Green and Simmons on the court at the same time would likely cause issues. Simmons could probably learn a lot from Draymond, but playing both would be create lots of offensive liability, unless Simmons somehow made an unfathomable leap and became a GREAT shooter.
And, honestly, I doubt that Sixers would want Draymond back in a trade unless it came with a lot of the young players/draft picks, which the Warriors don't really want to give.
