I really liked Webber as a player in college and he would have had a better case for the HOF with his NBA play had he avoided the devastating injuries.
It's easy to look at his numbers and feel they fall short in terms of All-Star and All NBA appearances. But the PF position was STACKED when he played. Just getting on the team with Duncan, Dirk, and KG playing in the same conference was amazing.
Bosh is a worthy candidate. I wasn't sure if Wallace was going to get in. But he was a/the lead player on a title team that had a nice run. Props to him.
You could argue Wallace and CWebb may not make it in if you use the standards of the other HOF's. But I like that the basketball HOF's standards are more flexible. Being named in the HOF isn't like being named a Cardinal. Letting in an extra 10% of great players doesn't take away from the elite status of a HOF.
