I too do not love the idea of NBA draft picks. There's years where there isn't even 1 regularly-appearing all-star in the first round.

I like the clarity though. The last couple of years has been the Rox playing dress-up and pretending to be a contender/threat to championship-level teams. Now, that illusion is gone and the need to work and improve should be clear. And, ideally, any culture issues related to coddling Harden can be wiped away and we can get onto having an adult outfit where folks try nightly and then it is just a matter of building it up. Ala Eddie Cane Jr...got to BUIIIIIIIIILD...
