He missed 122 games between ages 21 and 23 and played in a dumpster fire instead in one of the best developmental organizations in the NBA. *shrug*
And Barnes is *still* a player that, outside of one good season at GSW (2015) has had terrible +/-, terrible VORP, and stats that suggest he is what he is: a no-pass average shooter and a mediocre defender.
So, yeah. Barnes is better today. And MKG was always the player with the higher ceiling.
