"Regis Prograis vs Josh Taylor & Stevenson vs Gonzalez (FIGHT WEEK!)"
You muthafuckas just don't understand how amped I am for these fights!
Prograis vs Taylor is #1 vs #2 guy at Super Lightweight. Both undefeated CHAMPIONS (WBA & IBF). Somebody's "0" gots to go! The final of the World Boxing Super Series tournament at 140. Prograis is the Louisiana native who relocated to Texas after Hurricane Katrina. One tough dude. Started out being a come forward guy with a chin of iron who would walk through anything his opponent threw to deliver heavy blows that took them out. He got alotta criticism and seemed to take it to heart, later becoming a more tactical fighter with the same heavy hands, stopping guys who've never been stopped. Josh Taylor is the Scottish guy who has always been a skilled boxer with decent punching power. He has the height advantage over Prograis, but just about everyone does. After the WBSS finally got Prograis' money right, the fight is upon us! Prograis vs Taylor comes on DAZN. It's in the UK, so it'll be on earlier than the Stevenson vs Gonzalez fight.
Then on ESPN+ we have Shakur Stevenson vs Joet Gonzalez. Two undefeated prospects who'll be going for their first title shot against one another. On the TMZ side of the game, Stevenson dates Gonzalez' sister, Gonzalez says he doesn't really love her, and Stevenson said at the press conference that he doesn't like Gonzalez "because he's a bitch." In other words, there's legit bad blood there. I'm excited about both their careers, as they've both been making some legit opponents look like they don't even belong in the ring with them. Stevenson is mentored by the great Andre Ward, and Gonzalez is trained by the great Robert Garcia. This is gonna be good.
