since that 2013 choke job vs the Blackhawks, being a Red Wings fan, nay a Detroit sports fan in general, has not been very rewarding.

today tho? today feels nice. this is the first KO front office move any Detroit team has made since...Dombrowski?

this was done absolutely the right way, as he's coming home as an experienced and award winning GM instead of having to succeed in his first GM role for the franchise he played for. lots of expectations, but no real pressure.
