20. "and Bron played herculean throughout the 2011 EC playoffs." In response to In response to 14 Fri Feb-23-18 09:30 AM by Vex_id
Nobody ever talks about that though - how he had to be apex Bron to get passed that Boston team and the MVP Rose #1 ranked Bulls squad - and Bron was MVP caliber Bron throughout that.
>he was the 5th in ppg in that series despite playing the most >minutes behind Wade, Bosh, Dirk and the great Jason Terry. He >also averaged the most turnovers for the series and shot 60% >from the line. > >His team needed him to be Lebron James and he wasn't even >close. He's the reason why they lost.
But again - nobody has ever denied that Bron had a really bad series against Dallas. But it turned out to serve him well because that was when he, Wade & the team sat down and said "you have to be the leader of this team now" - and as soon as that happened a switch turned, and Bron has been the Greatest we've ever seen since that 2011 disappointment. So that adversity and pressure created a diamond of all diamonds - but yea - it happened - and nobody has ever denied that it happened.
Lebron was only 26 years old during that series -- it was the series that killed the boy, and saw the man emerge - and I don't think he regrets it at all because of what came to be from it.
