>DeMarcus Cousins: Six Years and NOTHING but some empty stats >and "colorful" behavior, most notably shitting on thousands of >years of Asian culture to cyse his fake his black pride >bullshit. If he can't get his team into the playoffs, he some >bullshit. If his big ass can't shoot...let's say 48%, because >he's never shooting 50, he some BULLSHIT.
They ain't making the playoffs *again* and that's all that really matters. He can take over a game, he can do numbers blah blah blah. Can he win? So far the answer is an emphatic no. I like his skills, not sure how much I like his game. There is a nature/nurture to be had there, sure, but results are what matter.
>D'Angelo Russell: 18 and 5 on 44%. If he can't do it, he trash >and will never get better.
I think he can probably hit those thresholds but with as much as the Lakers will suck and use their players, I look more at substance than stats. Crawford is a common player but his usage made him seem like more. I'd say something similar about Randle. We will see how these guys look on the floor. I never saw Russell as a star, but now I don't even know how much of a solid pro he'll be.
>John Wall: The Adult AAU Superstar has managed to trick people >into believing he's a plus-defender and a leader, when the >fact is his team's decline was inversely proportional to the >temperature of Nene and Gortat's knees. This guy is >stat-padding loser and anyone who buys this shit need to watch >a basketball game that occured after 2008. Point guards need >to SCORE now. They need to be skilled. The muhfucka can't get >the ball in the hole when it matters. He bitched up against >WVU in the NCAAs and he bitches up in the pros. It's who he >is. He needs to get his team to the conference finals. Period.
I dunno if I'd assess him that harshly but yes he has been a disappointment and yes his lack of a jumper still stings. To me dude is still a face in the crowd, yet some people think he is a top 15 player. There are a lot of point guards who could produce the same results he does. The Wiz still have shitty management and he isn't absolving their sins the way an elite star would.
>Andrew Wiggins: I expect 24-5-3 and playoffs next year or he >some bullshit.
His numbers are empty so far but he's still very young. I am gonna chill but I do think he is overrated by many in terms of what he has done to date.
>Giannis: 18-10-8 and playoffs.
That's a helluva line to ask for, especially since we don't know if he is going to run the point again. Neither he or MCW is a real point guard. Kidd may have to fuck around and come out of retirement.
>Jabari: 22-6-3 and playoffs.
Lofty but no reason he can't do it, by that I mean he will have every opportunity.
And you will know MY JACKET IS GOLD when I lay my vengeance upon thee.
