I have to admit, I get a kick out of watching Larry Bird footage now.

Back in the day, forget it; he was my sworn enemy.

My cousin had every color of Adidas Shells, and when he got the pair with the green stripes (he was from Philly), I called him a traitor, LOL.

But watching Bird now is a marvel. The footwork; the motor- nobody hustled like Dude; and the killer instinct- if the celtics had you down by 10 he was mad and was going to bust his ass to make sure you were down by 20. And that J- I know we are in Steph land now, but Bird's J is a thing of beauty. That and watching him attack someone he didn't respect- I was just watching a 76ers/celts game and Bird straight posterized Caldwell Jones. SMH.

Anyway, who are the ones you HATED with every fiber of your being because they put it on your squad....but now can appreciate?
