Well here we are, last day of the EPL season and sadly little to still play for at this point. While the season hasn't exactly been a long and crazy ride that would make Mad Max's chase scenes pale in comparison, there's a genuine sense of excitement about next year. And seeing how the transfer and coaching rumors have been popping off already, a lot of teams have their eye firmly focused on coming back strong to try and prevent Jose's men from repeating. The relegation only has one question mark, and with the way Newcastle have been playing down the stretch not many would rue their relegation. But for that to happen would mean Hull have to beat Man U, and that might be a tall order above and beyond the Tigers' capabilities. Sure they had a nifty win over Liverpool in late April, although events have shown since that this might not be as impressive as it sounds. And Steve Bruce has famously never beaten United as a manager. For Newcastle the challenge goes through a West Ham squad that's been sleepwalking its way through the business end of the season, but who will count on inspiration from Big Sam and Kevin Nolan who probably won't cry many tears should there be a Toon relegation. Arsenal will need to get at least a point against West Brom to ensure they keep 3rd place and an easier Champions League campaign. Stoke and Liverpool play what looks like a meaningless game, but with this being Gerrard's last chance to get EPL minutes and possibly Sterling's last game as a Red, not to mention a chance for Liverpool to secure a European spot, there's more than meets the eye here.
Spain: Barcelona get to celebrate their new title at home, which might not be good news for Depor who are very dangerously close to relegation. This will be the last appearance for Xavi at Camp Nou so expect a deafening ovation for him
Italy: Juve now have achieved a double, a tremendous feat by itself, and can turn their attention to their meeting with Barca (even if Napoli beckons this weekend). The team they beat in the Coppa Italia final this week, Lazio, now go into a Rome derby on which their whole season could depend
France: With the title locked up, PSG can focus on making a featured appearance in every single transfer rumor article published over the next 3 months
