... they only play the majority of ACC possible tourney teams once. Each ACC team plays four teams twice... and three of UVA's opponents are VT, Wake, and State. All of whom will be dreadful. They also play only two OOC ranked opponents.
Some will think I mean this as a diss. I don't at all. It means UVA will realistically likely lose at absolute most 5 ACC games and 6 games total, making them a favorite for at worst a 3 seed and certainly priming them for Final Four contention. Teams with the tougher schedules are more likely to knock each other down and out, leaving a clearer path for UVA.
