I probably modeled my game most after the first two guys the most, just hard nosed defensive minded point guards. And I loved how crafty and efficient Hornacek was for a guy not that athletic (the free throw thing was hilarious too) and I loved how Mahmoud Abudl Rauf could absolutely light it up - and even as I kid I knew the NBA did him dirty!
Plus Shaq was just larger than life when I was a kid, I never liked MJ all that much as a kid (my first bball memories are probably of him terrorizing the Lakers in the 91 Finals), but Shaq came in right after as a rookie and he was basically like a cartoon character... I even watched Blue Chips, Steel, and Kazaam in theaters!
