"Poll question: Would you still like to see Mayweather v. Pacquiao?"

Call me crazy but after this present
revelation of just how dominant
Floyd really is, all of a sudden the
Pacquiao fight seems a bit more
appetizing.

Yes, Pac got blitzed by Marquez
and may never be the same - but
let's not forget that Pacquiao actually
looked *very* good before getting
the plug pulled out the socket by
that brilliant J.M.M overhand right.

If he can look just as dynamic (without
getting knocked out lol) against Rios,
would that reinvigorate the Floyd-Pac
noise? Not even a little bit?

I just look at the all available opponents
for Floyd and simply do not see a viable
challenge. Sergio? Sure, if he can get down
to 152 or 154, but I still feel Sergio blew
his load in the Chavez fight and will never
be the same. GGG? lol we might as well
throw Ward into the mix - along w/ B-hop -
because cats are really reaching to find an
opponent by citing guys 2 full divisions
heavier than Floyd.

Anyone at 147 or below excite you as
a potential Floyd opponent? See, I just
don't see Khan, Garcia, and 140 guys
giving Floyd much of a run. Floyd is
not only bigger than those guys, but he
now fights big, too. He was the bully
in the Canelo fight - and I think he'd
bully those guys as well.

Yes, Pac is also smaller, but I just see
the southpaw, unorthodox style
possibly making the fight interesting
- as it was v. Corley (at least for a round)
and Zab (for 3/4ths of that competitive fight)

I'm hoping for a dynamic pacquiao performance
against Rios because (1) let's face it, Floyd needs
an opponent who at least makes you think the fight
might be somewhat competitive; and (2) pacquiao
is really, really fun to watch when he's on.

Poll result (30 votes)
Yes - if Pac looks good v. Rios (17 votes)Vote
No - the fight no longer has intrigue (3 votes)Vote
Yes - regardless of wins/losses (0 votes)Vote
Pacquiao's too small, Floyd would toy w/ him (1 votes)Vote
Even if Pac loses to Rios, his style is tough for Floyd (2 votes)Vote
C'mon ox, it's not 2010 anymore. Fight's dead (7 votes)Vote
