"Poll question: *GAME OF THE WEEK*"
Wed Sep-21-05 12:46 AM by CyrenYoung

..i'm always talkin' about the fact that monday night football is kinda outdated

if the nfl could work out a deal wit' the networks, the teams, and the commercial affiliates, a "game of the week" format would be the next level.

- every week (for the duration of the regular season), a poll will be posted (tuesday) for game of the week (by the MODS of this board ONLY). each person on the board will be able to vote for their choice that week. at the end of that day (11:59pm), the matchup with the most votes, wins. *the game of the week thread will be posted that wed (inbox your mods NO LATER THAN 5PM-EST, that tuesday to request permission to do the thread)

- we reserve the right to eliminate certain games, due to limited space available with polls

- that will be the ONLY preview thread allowed for that week.

- since that is the only preview, there will be NO NEED for an anchor, and everyone will be responsible for utilizin' the search feature. all other previews will be regulated to the weekly chatter/injury report.

- all others will be deleted, on-sight, no questions asked

special consideration was made for teams that remain undefeated (sorry philly, my mistake)

**votin' closed**

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaand its ne @ pitt by a landslide! there you have it. there will be a preview thread for this matchup in the next few hours. all other previews and discussions shall be regulated to the game threads or the weekly chatter/injury report (no exceptions)...

Poll result (58 votes)
