Like the 30 to me was just a slippery, stiff version of the 29 to me but he seemed to love it, so much that he kept wearing it when the 31 was out (the "30.5" also). His signature model has a big, rigid heel counter and sort of a stiff overlay on top of the bootie. I don't know if we have seen a guard value containment this much. LeBron and Bosh had some pretty containment-oriented shoes (Bosh wearing the Hyperposite for years), but Russy plays out front all the time.
