it was an exercise in trust, discipline, perserverence, joy, heartbreak, and a lot of other stuff i dont really have the words for.

i can see how even other people who played might think that sounds a little excessive, but if anything it really sells it short. i got SO lucky with my schools, coaches, and teammates. every ounce of both elation and pain that football gave me was a blessing, and there were metric tons of both.
