And economics is largely defined by how spectacularly wrong it gets predictions
How it must revise it's metrics all the time, in part because human behavior, and context, and all of that are spectacularly hard to predict and understand
And unlike sports, economics is routinely HELD ACCOUNTABLE for it's failures.
Smart people routinely demolish economies based on "metrics," and what they miss is often aspects of culture, and behavior that you have to be in a certain place to understand
Same goes for sports
"Analytics" is a nice way to bundle up some intuition and measure some cool things
But it won't *replace* anything, and is certainly not better than experience, ever
