Moreland is at least 20 feet behind the bag. 110 feet from the plate. Kinsler is on the grass. I'd say a good 140 feet from the plate.
That ball rebounded in a good 40 feet from the wall. If Ian Kinsler and Josh Hamilton have simultaneous clairvoyant visions about where the ball end up the moment that it's hit and take off at the crack of the bat, I feel pretty confident that Kinsler gets there first. That being said, nobody expects either one of them to get to that ball. It's Cruz's play to live and die on.
