Now they sign another very talented back.
That seems like good business to me.
So far the things I didn't like/didn't get were 1) trading a second with Foles (obviously there was another taker on Bradford, but that's a tough one) and 2) letting Maclin walk when they had the opportunity to sign him.
I guess one could argue that they overpaid Maxwell, we'll see.
But overall I think the plan has fit together pretty well so far. They wanted a veteran QB and also Bradford gave them the inside track on Murray. They moved a very talented player but replaced him and essentially got two guys they needed badly in return.
They've addressed the areas of need. I bet they get another starting wideout before it's all over, too.
Maybe there is some kind of weird dynamic at play, maybe they are just aggressive.
