So for those of you guys who dont know the Las Vegas Hilton Super contest is one of the best known pools for football degenerates. Guys like Bill Simmons play it and talk about it on their podcast. And a bunch ofprofessional gamblers around the country have a entry.

I entered with some friends a few years ago and we finished mid pack. It was a blast, and I want to do it again, but dont really wanna spend $1500.


I figured Id experiment with playing this year and OKP and with some close friends and see how we do. Ill keep record and we'll crown a winner (maybe Ill do a $20-$25 gift card out of my own pocket).


The basic premise is every week you look at the Lines and Choose your 5 favorite.
Team with the best record wins. Simple.

If you choose the Thursday game all 5 of your picks have to be in by Thursday.
If you want til Sunday, Ill make the Deadline Sunday before game starts.
Usually you can't see each others picks but I dont think anyone here will just sit and copy everyone else's picks.


On the google Doc there will be 2 tabs every week
The first tab has the lines and the second tab has your entry for the week.
The lines are the same one Supercontest uses. These lines get Frozen as of Wednesday so if an injury happens late week and you picked a Thursday game, unfortunately you're frozen in that game.

To pick a game look at the lines on the first tab and follow this format (my example is up with my picks for the week)

7 STEELERS* 10:00 AM 8 BROWNS 6.5


The Second team listed is the underdog so those numbers are all + (Browns are +6.5 or 6.5 point underdogs).

The first team listed is the favorite so those are all - (Steelers are -6.5 or 6.5 point favorites).

If you want the Browns enter it as: Browns +6.5 (Use Mascot listed instead of City)
And pushes are counted as Draws.

Im doing this on Google Docs so ill be able to look at time stamps for entries.
Since its free I dont expect cheating but Ill be able to check google docs history if you go in and change somebodies picks.

If you miss picks a week or come in late, its fine, you'll just be at a disadvantage.
