but either way, Tony Romo ain't Peyton Manning.
My problem with Garrett wouldn't be calling a play in a package that has a throw option in it or not specifically telling Tony 'DON'T RUN' (I mean, that would have been ideal on Garrett's part but it probably should be safely assumed by the QB regardless) it's the fact that he's only just now putting it out there that it was Romo's audible, which to me just says 'I've reached Def-Con-5 level, I know this season is over & I will likely be fired so let me try this last minute bit of bitchassedness while posing as holding my much-maligned QB accountable as a last-ditch-effort'.
Not to mention Garrett did more than enough dumb things on his own late in this game.
No real point in isolating it & trying to spin it all on Romo at this point.
