and I loved Griffey, that cat to me had the Coldest Swing since Darryl Strawberry and Ironically Bonds and Griffey got where Straw never got, however glad we still have Straw, even though we all know Straw should have been a HOF and that is for another post.

Griffey loved his being the Natural and being Gifted, however I never felt he had that something extra gear that Bonds had.

Griffey to me had a better cast aroud him and them M's should have one at least 1 chip with all that talent around him, that is another topic.

Griffey wasn't the all around Player as Bonds. now Griffey had the better arm and was a beast in Left field, however to Me Griffey sorta left something on the table if you ask me.

truth is with his kind of talent he should have had arguably the most Homeruns ever and done a bit more.

Bonds to Me just stayed focused and driven and added to his game.

Bonds stole bases, took walks and made teammates better Jeff Kent has a thank you note to Barry for that MVP he got regardless if he hated Bond's guts.

Bonds never stopped getting better and he just picked up pitches and locations better. he wasn't hacking and got smarter.

Griffey left Seattle and they didn't fall off they in fact got better.

Griffey the year before he went to the reds they were a threat, when Griffey got there, they were just another team on the bubble of a wild card.

now lets be clear without Griffey Seattle doesn't have a baseball team now, however he didn't exactly leave that next mark with making that team better.

the Giants lost the Chip in the 2002 Series, however it wasn't because of Bonds, matter of fact He could have easily been the Jerry West and Chuck Howley and been giving the MVP for the losing team easily IMO.

to Me not only was Bonds the better Player, he also worked with less overall IMO and I dug Griffey a whole lot and he is 2nd to me.

if Bonds had a A Rod, Buhnier and Edgar batting before and after him with a Big Unit as a starting pitcher, then Bonds has easily a couple of rings
