>NBA games as those guys, "because he's not that good",
his first nba season he was signed for marketing. he had a european/d-league skillset @ best.
year two he's cut for cap room, and if not for desperate need on D'Antoni's part, is out the league. then he's hurt.
now he starts. please don't make it seem as if he had EVERY opportunity to play and never got the chance cause he was bad. it's not true.
he >looks halfway decent some games because Harden so good at >penetrating and teams usually have to double off Lin to help >and he gets a ton of wide open looks
there's no way you watch rocket games. no way. here's how lin scores transition @ the rim off of misses transition @ the rim off of turnovers off the dribble @ the rim in the halfcourt foul shots jumpshots
he's not paxon/kerr/armstrong/hornacek waiting on passes wide open. he's at the rim, off his dribble, constantly. there's no way you watch the games and come up with this "ton of wide open looks" bit.
but he's still one of the >least efficient starting pg's in the NBA.
his first year as a starting pg with a high usage 2g who he had no time w/ in training camp a first year starter at C a 2nd year starter @ SF and the youngest team in the league.
what do fast paced young teams do? turn the ball over and be inefficient.
if that isn't a recipe for efficiency, I dunno what is. how do you breathe in the vacuum you create your arguments in?
There are a hundred >guys in the NBA, D-league and overseas that could put up 12&6 >alongside Harden in the backcourt.
