Sleeves on a basketball jersey are not a new thing. A lot of pro and college teams wore sleeves back in the day. I think when Baylor was at Seattle they still had sleeves, for sure I remember seeing old photos of Tom Gola at La Salle with sleeves. The Celtics wore sleeves in the very early days of pro basketball as well (Late 40s/early 50s).
This is certainly a modern take on the sleeved jersey but I think it looks very good on the players/on the court. I would certainly not stuff my own torso into one, but I think the recent Rev 30 look from Adidas is not exactly fan friendly to begin with. Everything is tapered and long, made for guys with that KG/Odom type of build.
