Things we're required to believe because we believe that:

1. He was in a three year relationship and never once met the person . . . and never found that suspicious.
2. She was in a car accident and never went to visit her in the hospital.
3. She was battling leukemia and never went to visit her.
4. In fact, he never once attempted to visit the "love of his life"
5. He accidentally claimed that he had met her in person, when he hadn't.
6. Twice.
7. After she died, he didn't bother to go to her funeral.
8. He conveniently forgot all of it while the ESPN hype machine was playing up the dead-ex-girlfriend angle in the lead up to the BCS title game. And the heisman.
9. They never talked on Skype.
