I am a thinking man

I've been thinking outside the box for long
That I lost my new sneaker smell
I used to be religious
Until I started thinking for myself
And believed that there is no such thing as heaven or hell
Just alive or dead
Just good memories or bad memories

I don't talk much…but
I observe how people treat each other
And humans are some selfish ,evil, greedy motherfuckers
I question everything I see or hear
No one can answer the question of why do we have to be here

My thoughts have me thinking about
If humanity can unite under one flesh
Or we will the various colors of it
Grant our self-destructive death wish

I wonder if chivalry is dead
Because if it is then love isn't far behind
What is life without love?
Our most basic need
Life would become a competition for who can do the evilest deed

The best point of view in this world
Is that of a realist with the bifocal lenses
Because you see everything for what it is
And realize most people ain't shit
The maternal things we want are useless
The point of "achieving" a goal is overrated

Because everything we do
Is designed for us to past time until our time is up
Then what? What was your life all about?

Think about it
