What's up y'all. I haven't been on the boards since the first topic tourney and I just wanted to come back "home" so to speak. I had really been dealing with myself in terms of my perception of myself as a lyricist and musician which caused me to go into hiding. My boyfriend hipped me to this book called the Artist's Way and since reading it I have been renewed. As a coming back offering to you all especially any of you who have struggled as I had with finding your artistic way, I just wanted to mention it. If you pick up the book, just know: it's not a book you read, it's a book you do. It makes you proactive in finding your creativity. Anyway's that's it. I hope to be back on the boards with some lyrics soon - for now it's off to NY to do a show. If any New Yorkers are free tonight, I'll be at Don Hill's on 511 Greenwich St. @ 8p performing some original hip hop & soul. Man it feels good to be back!
