i used to believe in people

but humanity’s a myth

relying on others made me more of a pessimist

no knives and angst

but its hard to give thanks

looking at my cell phone all i see is acquaintances

real friends as low as my ends

i always, never, sometimes, forever

realize this truth until i ignore it again

trivial conversations

litter trivial relationships

we force smiles until they fade to shit…
