about how out of the earth
a higher form of being supposedly lurks
then supposedly this jerk who out of fear
believed he and he alone could stop and control
the slow moving mass
of genetically designed slime that'll over time
amass flesh
and at their best
collect memories of those who left us too soon
this jerk saw it as a threat that spelt our doom
from the truth this was the farthest
like him thinking he could harnest
this force
that was here before us
and will be when were dust
and done away
only for one day to return to light
due in part to the heart of the slime
