or I'm too old fashioned, but assuming RDJ will be the top paid actor for this Doom/Avengers flick; isn't it a bit odd for the antagonist to be the top paid actor for a movie since the audience is supposed to identify most with the protagonist?

I get it from Marvel's perspective somewhat in backing up the Brinks truck for RDJ since he was one of the first Marvel superstars to kick off these Disney flicks, but it's still wild that the villain will be the top billed actor, muchless that it appears RDJ will be calling shots on the movie set since he hand picked the Russo Bros. to direct this flick.
