"It's crazy how young Eddie Murphy was in those 80'a movies/48 Hours"

A few months ago I was thinking about how young Eddie was in Beverly Hills Cop. Dude was 22 or 23! Taking on a lead role, doing well, acting with guys older than him and fitting in.

48 Hours he wasn't even 21 and did that. And the other movies too.

I was just reading about how 48 Hours was originally intended for Clint Eastwood and Richard Pryor. And Gregory Hines was considered too. I could see that plot wise. That's why it probably takes place in San Fran because they had Clint in mind originally.

But yeah Eddie being young and taking on those roles is crazy thinking back on it.
