He was so great at what he did. I was a big fan of No Reservations but Parts Unknown was even better. Great writer, so good with words. He was obviously sick, even before he met the girl. I think the firing of the cinematographer dude was a revelation? That’s sad because they had been friends. I’ve been to a couple of the places they went to in that Spain episode. It just sucks to think that he could have gotten through that time and gotten better, but obviously that was not a healthy relationship. I didn’t know about the Instagram story thing either, the whole thing is just really sad.
