because i thought this was great. i'm a fan of a lot of his last 20 years' work and would put this right up there with the movies makaveli mentioned. i have not watched everything he's put out, but if he wants to keep going then he's batting a higher average than revered filmmakers half or a third his age. i can't think of another director his age right now still doing great work in front of and behind the camera. this should have got a lot more love in awards season.
