I tend to think that what he's referring to as a "script" will really just be an "outline," as opposed to the last few which have apparently had virtually nothing written down.

Can't hurt. I've actually liked his post-Tree of Life shit but it's objectively slight compared to everything that came before it.

Still, if a visionary motherfucker like Malick wanted to make some avant garde experimental shit - and that's what To the Wonder and Knight of Cups and probably this one are - then I certainly wasn't going to complain about it.
