I forgot that I saw this shit until someone reminded me. It's exactly what I expected and could call about 95% of what would happen next.
It took this badly written movie to make me realize that Manchester By The Sea is a well crafted film about grief. Kevin Tsujihara sure does greenlight some bullshit.
Collateral Beauty is the dollar store wannabe Hallmark card that thinks it's deep, but instead is trite, clichéd and misguided. Not as bad as everyone told me it was, but it's not good. At all. For a film with such a diverse cast, it's one of the whitest films I've seen all year. Like a glorified Lifetime movie masquerading as a prestigious Oscar film.
