but NBC needs to move Dateline to another night and just make Friday their genre night.
Fridays should be:
FALL 8:00 PM Family friendly genre show (that goes at least 16-22 episodes tops) 9:00 PM Grimm 10:00 PM Constantine
WINTER 8:00 PM Genre show (premiere another one if the one you had in the fall doesn't go a full 22 eps) 9:00 PM Grimm 10:00 PM Hannibal (NBC is officially invested in the show and they seem to, right now, determined to make it work and keep as long as they possibly can given that it's under an unusual financial model (it's funded by NBC and international production company Gaumont TV, and Hannibal is one of the American shows that has a growing international audience)
SUMMER throw in Grimm reruns and air some summer genre shows/miniseries to keep it going year round...
like NBC needs to just give up the funk and do this. like how BBC America has Supernatural Saturdays or Drama Wednesdays (Broadchurch, Luther, etc.), NBC needs to brand Friday night Supernatural Fridays, or Genre Fridays or some bs like that and move on...
because Constantine only works behind another genre show....it doesn't work anywhere else on NBC's programming schedule...same with Hannibal. Fridays are the worst day for most shows that aren't on CBS....
BUT, Friday seems to work for Hannibal and other genre shows on NBC....
