56. "For reasons unknown to me, I read the entire Moore interview." In response to In response to 51 Fri Jan-24-14 12:52 PM by Jayson Willyams
And this:
>considering that Morrison's >recent work and comments actually seem to echo Moore's current >view on things.
is kind of the whole point. Moore feels that Morrison has intentionally (and cravenly) echoed him at virtually every turn of his (Morrison's) career.
I know it's easy to blow off "crazy old wizard man" Alan Moore's latest "unhinged rant"...but honestly, reading the entire thing...he's not wrong. Unless he's straight-up lying, and I don't think he is.
All I've read of Moore is Watchmen and Miracleman (loved them both). For Morrison, it's We3, New X-Men, All-Star Superman, his Batman run, FInal Crisis...I think that's it. Again, I loved all of those stories. So I've read and enjoyed more of Morrison's work than Moore's. I point this out to illustrate that, while I don't have a dog in this fight, if I DID, it would probably be Morrison (gud dog). So I'd like to think I'm unbiased when I say that Moore is pretty clearly in the right here, as long as he's not outright lying.
